South Dakota

So, last night we stayed in this very small town by the name of Wall. It is approximately 45 minutes east of Rapid City. We stopped there because as we were going down the I-90 there were a bunch of signs advertising "wall drug". Some said, "$0.05 coffee at Wall drug" or even better "kids love Wall Drug" or "T-rex at Wall Drug". First of all, the name of this thing makes you think of idk some ecstasy laced with I don't even know what and just the implications of these signs MADE you stop. So, we got a lovely Best Western in Wall and walked to Wall Drug. Seriously, its the best thing in the world. Its a drug store, a toy store, a clothing store, a leather shop, a western art gallery, a restaurant, a bakery, an apothecary, an arcade, and some other random things. It was awesome. Seriously, one of the best places I've seen hahaha. Then at night there was a severe thunderstorm. Luckily, the storm passed right on by us and didn't actually hit us but we could see the lightning striking some other town. You can see that because over here its just plain there's actually nothing other than grass...but yeah, it was gorgeous. We were actually going to stay in Chamberlain last night but we decided to visit Mount Rushmore. It was actually very lucky we stayed in Wall because tornados touched down in Chamberlain!

Well, right now I'm driving through SD on the I-90 hopefully, to reach Minneapolis. We'll see how that goes. And I'm currently listening to "Will You Be There" by Michael Jackson, so I'll leave you with some parting lyrics..

In Our Darkest Hour
In My Deepest Despair
Will You Still Care?
Will You Be There?
In My Trials And My Tribulations
Through Our Doubts
And Frustrations
In My Violence
In My Turbulence
Through My Fear
And My Confessions
In My Anguish And My Pain
Through My Joy And My Sorrow
In The Promise Of Another Tomorrow
I'll Never Let You Part
For You're Always In My Heart.
